Welcome to “The Reconstruction Project of the Colossus of Amenhotep III in the Temple of Amun-Ra in Karnak”, Spanish-Egyptian Mission for the Excavation, Conservation and Restoration of the Great Colossus of Amenhotep III in the X Pylon of the Karnak Complex. We are very excited to welcome you to this project that will restore the largest colossus ever rebuilt in Egypt, more than 22 meters high. A Project of the University of Córdoba, in collaboration with the Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
