Graduate in History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, he has taken the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Ancient History and Science at the UAM and UCM, and the Complutense Master’s Degree in Orientalism and Egyptology.
He is the creator of the project ‘Ojo de Horus’ (Eye of Horus), a project to disseminate information about the history of ancient Egypt on social networks.
Biography
Graduate in History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, he has taken the Interuniversity Master's Degree in Ancient History and Science at the UAM and UCM, and the Complutense Master's Degree in Orientalism and Egyptology. Juanjo has participated in several conferences as a speaker dealing with the central theme of his work in both masters: the texts of despair in Ancient Egypt. He is the creator of the project 'Ojo de Horus' (Eye of Horus), a project to disseminate information about the history of ancient Egypt on social networks, and a participant in the project 'Madrid e Historia' (Madrid and History), which offers cultural visits and heritage dissemination. He has participated in the last excavation campaign of Segóbriga in the theoretical-practical course of Hispano-Roman Archaeology in the Southern Plateau. He has also taken several specialisation courses in 3D recreation of historical heritage. Juanjo has recently worked as a Mediator and Guide in the exhibition 'Daughters of the Nile', organised by the Eulen Group. He is currently a room assistant at the Lázaro Galdiano Museum and at the Casa de la Moneda Museum through Krea Cultura y Ocio. Juanjo is currently preparing his doctoral thesis on Egyptology at the Complutense University of Madrid.
