José Antonio studied History at the University of Seville, where he graduated with a degree in Archaeology.
Since 2003 he has carried out his professional work throughout Andalusia, participating in various archaeological interventions throughout the territory and covering a wide variety of chronologies.
Biography
José Antonio studied History at the University of Seville, where he graduated with a degree in Archaeology. He is a member of the Colegio Oficial de Doctores y Licenciados en Filosofía y Letras y Ciencias de Sevilla, Sección Arqueología since 2003. He then continued his academic training in the Department of Archaeology at University College Cork (Ireland), where he was part of the technical team in several archaeological interventions carried out during 2002. Since 2003 he has carried out his professional work throughout Andalusia, participating in various archaeological interventions throughout the territory and covering a wide variety of chronologies. In 2013 he joined the research and archaeological team of the Patronato de Panamá Viejo, participating in some of the archaeological interventions carried out in recent years in this historic monument. He has also carried out research work in the General Archive of the Indies in Seville on several projects of interest to the Board of Trustees. In 2014 he joined the archaeological team that participated in the 7th campaign of the Vizier Amen-Hotep Project, Huy. He currently combines his research work with the management of programmes financed by European Funds.
